6 Ways to Get Super Organized

It's always good to be organized and I love to plan everything! Especially this time of the year when everything gets crazy busy and very stressful for so many people. As a student with a part time job, blog, YouTube channel, and friends/family to see - things can get a little hectic. Planning ahead and staying as organized as possible is something that helps my mind settle so that I can get some sleep at night!

Today I'm going to share a few ways you can get yourself more organized. I use all of these methods almost daily!

1. Clothes Organizer

Every week I plan out what outfits to wear according to my schedule (and the weather, of course). I section them all into cubbies and plan out what accessories to wear, as well as a matching lipstick shade and hairstyle. It has come in so handy because if you have a super busy schedule, its one less thing to worry about when getting ready in the morning!

2. Have an Agenda

I love having my bando agenda to write down when I have shift at work and when certain assignments are due for school.  I don't always use it, as I prefer to put tasks in my phone, but when I have it with me it's the perfect thing to use!

3. Make sticky notes and reminders

I leave myself sticky notes around the apartment or on certain things that I am guaranteed to notice so that I don;t forget. I have a lot on my mind between school, work blogging, and now YouTube - so I love having these to keep myself on track.

4. Put it in your phone

I use my phone the most when it comes to planning ad organization. I use a widget called "Mini To-Do" that I am able to sort out tasks for each day of the week/month and check them off as I go. I love how they can be easily moved around as well.

5. Do prep the night before / plan ahead

I am a worrier! As someone who worries about everything all the time, it's best if I have a plan written down so I can slot out my time realistically. I am obsessed with managing my time as effectively as possible and being productive. I will sometimes write down what I need to get done by a certain time in the day (by the hour, usually) so that I can get everything I need done.

I also always feel better knowing that my school meals are packed the night before, my outfits are set out, and any homework I have is printed and in the correct binder ahead of time.

I usually plan my time 1-2 weeks ahead and a typical week for me is school 4 days a week, work 2-3 days a week, homework everyday, paint my nails and plan my outfits and meals once each week, and blog/YouTube tasks 2-3 times a week as well. I try to make time for friends, but sometimes it doesn't happen all the time!

6. Meal Prep

I usually plan out all of my meals, do grocery shopping, and make all of the food on Sunday's and have enough to last me Monday - Thursday for school. This way I am able to make full, healthy meals for myself and ensure that I have something ready to go with me each day to class. If you want to know more about meal prep and how I do it, see this blog post and video here.

I hope you found these tips helpful! I know they have come in very handy for me.

    1. Thanks!! And that's amazing! I find it so handy. And I'm so glad I got into meal planning. Very time consuming on the day you prep - but worth it when you're busy throughout the week! Good luck with it :)
