Don't Quit Your Day Dream

Hope everyone is having a great start to 2018! I have been catching up at work this week, along with other freelance projects - and the blog has been kind of pushed back. I have lots of new inspiration, plans and content ideas for this year but I am feeling pretty unmotivated by this super cold weather and it makes it hard to want to shoot content and execute everything I have visions for.

I keep dreaming up all of these cool shoots, things I want to do with the blog, all of my goals and visions for 2018 - but this -20°C Canadian weather is really not for me. I want to be somewhere warm, doing what I love - and creating content.

I hope the super cold days don't last too long and the snow melts soon. THAT or I will have to get lots of photos while I am on vacation this winter! We will see how it goes. Anyone else having these winter blues?

Along with shooting new/different and inspiring content, I also want to continue to write more this year and connect with my audience. I got such a great response within the last 6 months of sharing more personal thoughts and life updates. I love being inspired by outfits, beauty, and other trends - but reading other bloggers share genuine stories and insights is rather refreshing in my opinion. I hope you guys continue to follow the journey this year! Be sure to catch up on YouTube too, as I will be sharing some more authentic realness on there as well.

Today I am wearing this magical sheer black top with tiny silver star details. YES, I was freezing when I took these photos. How cool does it look with the leather jacket and pink hair though?! Pretty sure my temporary pink hair is just about faded now - see more pink hair updates on Instagram!

OUTFITS DETAILS:

H&M Top // ALDO Booties // Pandora Ring // H&M Earrings // Levi's Denim // Ardene Leather Jacket

Thanks for reading today!

  2. I love this top! I feel ya about the cold weather. In Chicago our place gets horrible lighting and shooting photos is difficult in the winter. Luckily I am in a sunny place for a bit. Hope you can get great shots on vacation!

  5. RIGHT?! Honestly, I’m in the same situation! It’s physically painful to shoot outdoors, so I’ve put a lot of wishful posts/content on the back burner right now. Hoping for a break from this freeze :(

Love the star studded shirt. Such a fun piece!
