Face-Swapping Makeup Edition: Collab with Tiffany Kwong

I am super excited to share this collaboration post with you all today! I teamed up with Tiffany from The Picky Princess and we decided to do a legitimate "face swap" on each other - and we did each other's makeup! I put my girly and glittery touches into her makeup look, while Tiffany did a super glowy and sophisticated look on me.

I had never done anyone else's makeup before, but I know that it's very important to properly wash and sterilize any tools you may be using on someone else. I prepped all of my items for Tiffany and washed my brushes so they were ready to go. If you ever want to know how I clean my makeup supplies, comment below to request a tutorial!

We decided to start off with our own base of foundation and concealer, and the rest of the makeup was applied by me!

This was the look that I had come up with! I went for a rose gold eye, shimmery pink lip, and lots of highlight on her cheekbones to accentuate them. I added some glitter to her eyelids for that perfect feminine finish!

Here is a list of all the products I used on Tiffany:

Eyes:
The Naked 3 Palette (Strange, Dust, Limit & Nooner)
Stila Stay All Day black eyeliner
"Dark Brown" ABH Eyebrow Pomade
NYX Rose Gold Face & Body Glitter

Face:
"Watts Up" by Benefit
Cocoa Contour by Too Faced

Lips
"Petal Pink" by Paladio

I think that it actually turned out super pretty on Tiffany and she looks like a little fairy princess! It was so cool to see my pastel makeup on her, as she usually does her makeup more neutral or dark.

Next, Tiffany did my makeup. I was so excited to see what she was going to do with the look!

Here is a list of all the products Tiffany used on me:

Eyes:
Maybelline The Nudes Palette
Stila's Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner in black
Anastasia's Beverly Hills DIPBROW Pomade in dark brown
Covergirl LashBlast mascara

Face:
Jordane Cosmetics contour palette
Benefit CORALista blush

Lips:
Rimmel London Moisture renewed lip clear liner
MAC's Ruby Woo lipstick
Sephora's Cream lip stain in Always Red

I think that this look is so pretty and very bronze with the perfect pop of red on my lips! I loved how Tiffany perfectly lined my lips and how amazing the eyeshadow turned out.

Painted Feathers

I tried painting feathers on my nails - and I think they actually turned out okay. I used a thin black nail striper brush to achieve the feathery strokes, and I love how they look against the pink/blue pastel ombré background!

Polishes Used:

"Pretty Pink Perseveres" by OPI
"Babe Blue" by Sally Hansen
"Black" Nail Art Striper by KISS

Visits to Kate Spade in Yorkville

A little while ago my blogging friend Ema and I spent an afternoon in Yorkville! We had so much fun visiting the Kate Spade store specifically. Kate Spade has got to be one of my favourite brands, and I'm sure Ema can relate. We were both pretty excited while looking around the store, so here are some shots from our visit! Be sure to watch the little vlog video at the bottom as well!

The cutest glowing sign of Kate Spade's slogan "live colourfully"  *insert heart eye emoji*

The prettiest pictures clustered all over the wall next to the staircase! Loved this!

Ema and I snapped a pic in the mirror upstairs as well!

I was obsessed with all of the novelty grapefruit themed items!

Aren't these black kitten shoes amazing?!

Just before we let, we were able to get one of the sales associates to take this of us! Check out Ema's Kate Spade visit post here and get all the details on her pretty pink outfit!

Chewing Gum

I am always on the hunt for cute walls in Toronto, and if they're pink, that's definitely a bonus! This one at Early Bird Espresso was fun to pose in front of. I am wearing this adorable "chewing gum" t-shirt dress from Zara with my (dirty) white converse sneakers. I added the little space buns in my hair with extra glittery makeup to complete the look.

Watch the look book video below as I attempted to add in props such as my pink lollipop and a piece of gum that just wouldn't let me blow a bubble!
