Street Style at Yonge and Dundas

Today I am starting something new on the blog! I have been inspired by one of my recent fashion photography projects at school to capture Toronto street style and share the photos as mini "Style Profiles" on my blog. Some of these images were captured for my class, and others were some I got specifically for the blog where I was able to ask the individual some style questions. I hope you guys enjoy this post!

I loved the effortless femininity to this look! Captured for my photography assignment.

This is Victoria. I loved her grey Zara body con dress paired with a relaxed Dynamite denim jacket. Victoria describes her style as edgy and urban.

This is Annabelle. Her sassy sweatshirt, adorable pug bag and embellished shoes immediately caught my eye. Annabelle told me that her style is usually pretty girly.

This look was one that I caught while crossing the street at Yonge and Gerrard. Such a cool, edgy look!

This last one was a favourite of mine too, because of her pink hair (obviously!)

At the Hello Happy Market

A short while ago,  I visited the Hello Happy Market with one of my favourite blogger gals, Adrienne! Check out all of the Instagram-worthy shops in photos below!

Flower Maiden had the cutest little plants in these clear sphere cases.

I didn't catch the name of this shop, but they had the most adorable prints and greeting cards! My favourite one was the watermelon card.

There was also some clothing items on display!

Pixel Paper Hearts had these super cute mugs, too!

I fell in love with these star-shaped dishes from Hinkleville!

Bash Celebration Boutique had some really fun items - like the jumbo confetti balloon!

I did a little shopping at my personal favourite pop-up, Cherrypick

Here is another peek at Bash's display.

Adrienne and I also tried some tasty treats from Coco & Cowe Confectionary! I had the peach watermelon pop, and Adrienne chose the birthday cake ice cream sandwich.

Here are the cards I collected while I was shopping around!

Be sure to check out their Instagram accounts (linked above in captions)

Lastly, here is the item I picked up from Cherrypick!

Eye Love Pink

This design was a girly adaption on the "evil eye" trend I have been seeing everywhere! I also incorporated one set of eyelashes, too. I did the base of the nails pink and the nail art eyes are black, white and baby blue! I used pink because it's my favourite colour, obviously.

Polishes Used:

Sally Hansen // Blue Away

Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade

Today I'm going to be reviewing the ABH Dipbrow Pomade! This stuff is super popular! After trying a handful of brow kits by various brands and the ABH brow wiz pencil, I decided to see what all the buzz is about with this pomade!

I chose the shade dark brown for my brows. I think it matches pretty perfectly! The container the product comes in is also nice but when you look at it from the side, it almost looks empty! Totally deceiving at how much product you really get in here, but I've heard that these last a long time!

I apply my brow pomade with a thin brow liner brush by Quo. I purchased this at my local Shoppers Drug Mart. It works perfectly for the type of application I need and is also slightly less expensive than the original ABH brush.

I usually start the process of my brows at the bottom and out towards the tail. I then fill them in, and use any leftover product near the front part of my brow, where I want it to be less dark and look as gradual as possible.

The thing about this product is that a little goes a long way! You literally only have to tap the brush to get the right amount of pomade on your brush. Overall, I am loving this product so far and I've only been doing it for one week!

You can find this pomade at Sephora.

Wish List Wednesday: Summer 2016

This summer I am loving everything watermelon - from pool floats, to midi skirts. Even this Kate Spade clutch is shaped as a watermelon slice! Speaking out Kate Spade - check out these adorable baby pink flamingo-bottomed heels! I also mentioned a Kate Spade flamingo dress that's perfect for  summer here

Bright colours are a huge part of summer, too! I love to experiment with different lipstick shades, so this bright yellow would be a fun one to try. Also, a hot pink nail polish is a must for summertime.

So bring on the heat, and don't forget that finishing spray to set your makeup!
