Pastel Water Marble + Confetti

I haven't done a nail art post in a while - so in honour of spring time, I created this pastel water marble + confetti design. I used white polish as the base, and used the water marble technique and some fun confetti glitter polish. I think this is a nail look that is perfect for spring time!

POLISHES USED:

White // China Glaze
Pale Pink // Winners
Mint Green // China Glaze
Baby Blue // Sally Hansen
Confetti // H&M

Easter 2016

Happy Easter, everyone!

I hope you all had a great Easter Sunday - I know I did! It's been great to be back home in Cobourg this week seeing family and eating lots of chocolate eggs. Check out my Instagram for more Easter photos.

Today I wore this adorable baby pink dress from Honey and some white knee-high socks for added warmth. I put on some pastel lavender lipstick and strapped on these super tall black wedges as well. I accessorized with these beautiful Cherrypick opal crystal double studded earrings. The pink bunny ears were a cute accessory, too!

WHAT I WORE:

Dress // Honey
Shoes // Aldo
Watch // Michael Kors
Socks // American Apparel
Earrings // Cherrypick
Lipstick Shade // D'Lilac by Limecrime

TORONTO FASHION WEEK {March 2016}

Just over a week ago, was Toronto Fashion Week. I went down to David Pecaut Square with Blair of Couture in Chains to check out all the street style - and take some photos of our own.

For this outfit, I kept it simple in black and white with this bell-sleeved crop-top and a short black circle skirt. I also added some knee-high socks and black ankle booties. The weather was quite miserable this day, but we still managed to get some good shots. We even had a chance to stop into the Holt Renfrew truck and tried to unlock a prize! See some photo booth photos from that below.

WHAT I WORE:

Top // Forever 21
Skirt // Sirens
Shoes // H+M
Sunglasses // Calico
Watch // Michael Kors
Lipstick Shade // Melted Sugar by Too Faced

Removing Makeup, Moisturizing + More with Bioderma

Since living an urban lifestyle here in the city of Toronto, my skin has definitely changed. It is constantly feeling dehydrated, tight, and dry! External factors such as pollution, UV rays, temperature variations and stress are all contributing to my skin's appearance and feeling - and I'm always in need of something moisturizing at the end of the day! It is vital to keep sensitive skin properly moisturized and protected every day. Keep reading to find out how you can protect you skin!

I am loving these super moisturizing products by Bioderma. I have really enjoyed getting something new from them every once and a while! Each Bioderma PR package is like receiving lifesavers to my skin - at my doorstep. Below, read my reviews for their moisturizing makeup remover solution, and two new face moisturizers.

This Hydrabio H2O cleanses my skin and removes all of my makeup at the end of a long school day It is even able to remove my water proof eyeliner! I just poor some out onto a cotton pad, and wipe my face with it. It usually takes a couple of these to completely clean everything off!

My skin is feeling super hydrated ever since I started using this product, and the areas around my eyes no longer feel so dry and irritated.

Rich Moisturizing Cream:

This Hydrabio cream is for dry to very dry sensitive skin. With that being said - it is not for me! I have tried to use the smallest amount on my skin, but because of my acne prone and oily skin type, I actually ended up having some white heads appear after using this product! I would recommend this to those who have super dry skin on their face or neck - it will be super soothing for you and definitely do the job!

Gel-Based Light Moisturizing Care:

This light moisturizer is for normal to combination sensitive skin. I loved using this light-weighted cream formula all over my face and neck after the shower or before bed. It smoothed my skin and makes it feel hydrated, look radiant, but didn't cause any extra oiliness or breakouts. It is also a great source of Vitamin E for my skin. It's the perfect balance!

Lip Printed Tee + Pink Glitter Skirt

This past week was Fashion Week in Toronto! It meant dressing up every day in our best street style outfits - and taking blog photos amongst other fashionable people down at David Pecaut Square!

This was one of my outfits from this week. Blair got some amazing photos to capture this look against a bright blue wall that we came across.

I am in love with this fun, pink skirt that is super glittery - complete with a fluffy trim along the hem.  It may not be the most comfortable or practical - but it was done in the name of fashion!

WHAT I WORE:

Top // Forever 21
Shoes // H+M
Sunglasses // Betsey Johnson
Watch // Michael Kors
Lipstick Shade // Petal Pink by Paladio
