MAK Style 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it's already been ONE YEAR since I launched MAK Style! So many things have happened, changed, and I am so thankful for all of the opportunities and lessons I have learned along the way. 

Clueless Tartan [Flashback to TFW]

I was going through my blog photo archives and found these photos from March 2016 Toronto Fashion Week that were never posted! I thought I might as well share the look with you all now. This was an outfit repeat from a blog post I did on my old blog, too. You can see that post here. It was shot in my old high school and based on the movie 'Clueless'.

Pink on Pink

This has got to be one of my favourite shoots I've done for the blog so far! Everything is very pink - and that's the way I like it. 

Pink for me is much more than a colour - it's a part of me, my identity, and my personal style. Pink to me is very calming, and warm. It makes me feel super happy too - and I wish that everything was available in a shade of pink! 

For this super pink look, I wore my favourite pale pink dress from Honey, and added in some adorable accessories such as this rabbit clutch and my thin gold glitter belt. I also wore my pink double crystal ALDO earrings, my baby blush satin Betsey Johnson heels, and my signature lip colour in Schiap, by NARS.

Accessorizing with Cherrypick: Two Looks

Today I am sharing two looks in one post! I collaborated with Cherrypick to style + accessorize outfits with three pretty jewelry pieces from their website.

This outfit is just my style with a black turtleneck sweater and a blush pink knee-length pleated skirt. It's super girly and fun with these stunning statement necklace and opal crystal double-studded earrings.

Lip Printed Tee + Pink Glitter Skirt

This past week was Fashion Week in Toronto! It meant dressing up every day in our best street style outfits - and taking blog photos amongst other fashionable people down at David Pecaut Square! 

This was one of my outfits from this week. Blair got some amazing photos to capture this look against a bright blue wall that we came across. 

I am in love with this fun, pink skirt that is super glittery - complete with a fluffy trim along the hem.  It may not be the most comfortable or practical - but it was done in the name of fashion!
