My 2016 Memories and 2017 Goals

At the end of 2015, I decided I wanted to make a memory jar for the whole year of 2016. I wanted to write down every fun and memorable thing that happened on almost every day - and put them all into a jar to open at the end of the year. Today, I'm sharing some of my favourite memories of 2016. I didn't share all of the memories - just some highlights! Read them below and watch even more in the video at the bottom of this post!

These memories were some pretty great ones and posts that I was really happy I got to do!

Blogging and networking events are always so much fun and you get to meet so many amazing people! I have met two great friends because of blogging this year (Adrienne and Carolina) and I LOVE going to events with them and sharing those amazing memories together! I am so thankful for the many opportunities that blogging has allowed me to have.

I had a few personal memories and achievements this year as well! I shared these ones because they were all super fun and memorable.

My last segment of memories is a little uncategorized but I am so happy to have been featured on FASHION Magazine (and now on their Style Panel), was featured on my school's website (Toronto Film School) and got to help out one of my favourite Toronto bloggers with a super cute party-themed photo shoot!

In all, 2016 was a great year! I decided to come up with some goals for 2017 to hopefully help make it a memorable and enjoyable one as well. These are my goals:

Be Healthy

I want to continue to eat healthier and exercise often. I also need to go to bed earlier and get more rest each night.

Slow Down

I hope to slow down a bit and take more time for myself such as watching movies every once and a while, reading, and not putting so much pressure on myself to get everything done.

Keep it Positive

I would like to work on staying positive and not worrying and always thinking the worst of every situation.

~

Watch the video below where I share even more memories from my 2016 memory jar and talk about the year in reflection, as well as my new year's goals!

Have a happy new year and thanks for reading today!
