Spending time by the pool is one of my favourite things to do in summer (when I have some time!)
Today's post is all about poolside essentials and fun things I like to have on pool-weather days.
1. Sun Screen
You can't be out in the sunshine without some protection, and how cute are these little White Girl Sun Screen samples?! My straw hat might make the perfect accessory, but it definitely doesn't keep me covered like White Girl sun screen. These pouches are paraben free, oxybenzone free, alcohol free, and oil free.
2. Phone & Magazine
If you're sitting outside after a little afternoon swim, it's great to have some reading materials in hand while getting your tan on. I obviously need to have my phone out, too!
3. Nail Polish
Pampering by the pool? Why not! I love painting my nails every week, so touching up after a swim seems like a great idea to me. I am loving these pink gel polishes by Essie. Here I have my current faves: "Haute to Trot" and "Signature Smile".
4. Polaroid
A polaroid camera is much more than a neat Instagram photo prop - it shoots out cute hard-copy photos in an instant. The pool is a great location to capture memories and fun times!
5. Water Bottle
You've gotta stay hydrated in the hot sun! I am obsessed with my hot pink Swell water bottle and it keeps my water icy cold up to 24 hours - just how I like it.
What do you like to have out by the pool with you?
Thanks for reading today!
Those sunscreen samples are super cute! I'm also loving that Swell bottle. My favorite pool necessities are the pups, good music, and a sun hat!

Aren't they adorable?! They totally match my insta feed as well which is perfect LOL. And oh yes, dogs are the perfect pool companion and good music is always a must!!
DeleteLove your essentials! I really want to check out the Essie gel polishes. Do they hold well? I'm so rough on my nails and I want something that won't chip as soon as I get them finished.

Thanks girl! I'm loving the gel polishes and they actually hold up really well. The formula is super strong (compared to regular nail lacquer). I usually do my nails once a week and with regular polish, and by then they are so chipped and ready for a makeover. With the gel though, I really don't feel the need for a redo after the 7 days are up! I'd say it lasts up to 10 days. Hope that helps!
