Worth the Purchase? NUME Blush 25mm Glam Curling Wand + Ionic Styling Round Brush

I recently teamed up with NUME Hair to try out & review their 25mm Blush Curling Wand and Styling Round Brush. I was super excited for the curling wand especially because it’s the erect shade of pink and I didn’t have a wand in this size! I actually don’t think I’ve ever tried a wand in 25mm, all of mine are very small and I’m used to making tighter curls and then brushing them out.

When I read up on the benefits of this product, I was really glad to hear that it’s made with a 100% tourmaline ceramic barrel and features far infrared heat technology that naturally emits negative ions to combat frizz and add shine when you use it. The negative ion conditioning technology also helps to maintain moisture in your hair and eliminate frizz by sealing the hair’s cuticle while boosting shine.

How to curl: Wrap small sections of hair around the barrel for three to five seconds. Catch the curl to cool and set, then release. Wear the heat-resistant styling glove for added protection.

My thoughts: I used this product for the first time after colouring my hair with the Overtone Extreme Pink Colouring Conditioner. You can watch me use this curling wand in my YouTube video here.

My first impression was that it was so easy to use and it was the perfect temperature. It wasn’t too hot to damage it, but just hot enough to get the perfect loose curl in only a few seconds of holding each section of hair in place.

The overall result was STUNNING. I think this is my new favourite curling wand, and not just because it’s pink! I love the size of the barrel and how it makes really nice wavy pieces.

After styling, I very gently brushed it out with the NUME Ionic Round Brush to soften the curls even more. I literally felt like I had just went to the hair salon!

I would say that this blush pink curling wand is 100% worth the purchase if you are looking for a softer, more “glam” style curl and want a pretty pink (but amazing and easy to use) curler for your vanity!

I have yet to try it, but I’ve read that the ionic round brush is also great for doing blowouts. As negative ions from the brush's ceramic coating interact with your hair, the result is softer, more voluminous locks.

The lightweight, soft touch handle makes blowouts comfortable. Antimicrobial properties safeguard your hair and your brush from bacteria. Safe for all hair types and perfect for thick hair like mine!

I used a touch of Cake’s Wave Maker spray and some hairspray to keep it in place. I had these curls for two days before washing my hair again!
