I recently had my Barbie birthday dreams come true (over the weekend) by hosting an outing for my friends and me to celebrate my 27th (today)!
I organized a day for us to have a pink photoshoot, go to lunch, and then watch the Barbie movie!
See the invite I made below. Super simple but very on-brand!
I had TWO OUTFITS for this day. They are both from Fashion Nova (I got buy one get one free LOL). There are also huge deals at Macy's right now - sign up to their emails for 25% off your first order!
Outfit #1 is this baby pink tweed crop top + skirt set. It has rhinestones on the neckline, feather trim on the straps, and skirt trim. I also added these earrings from the Aldo x Barbie collection and my friend Jenn surprised me with the matching rings just before we headed out for the day!

I also accessorized with my Aldo x Barbie purse. It went perfectly with the look!
For outfit #2, I wore this hot pink blazer dress with feather trim. It matched the movie poster and everything! I was so sad that the Scotiabank Theatre (downtown Toronto) didn't have a Barbie box to pose for photos in. They literally had nothing fun to take photos with!
We ate at Chubby's Jamaican and the food was SO good! I had the Mac & Cheese and they also made me a cute pink drink.
Here are some more photos we snapped at the restaurant and the cinema! Everyone loved the movie SO much. It was funny, and emotional, and took a few unexpected turns.
