Rezy Sofa Review with Discount Code - Rezy Design Canada

Have you heard of the Rezy Sofa by Rezy Design? Based in Canada and marketed as a "lifetime couch", is it the only one you'll need for the rest of your life? Here are my thoughts after purchasing a Rezy two-seater sofa + ottoman.

I purchased a white Rezy Sofa with white marble coasters on the armrests. It's stunning! The couch measures 90 inches, and it fits nicely in my small Toronto condo living room. It comes with built-in seat storage, armrest storage, a tabletop for my laptop, outlets to charge devices, and marble surfaces to place my drink of the day.

Rezy even says on their website that you save 19 square feet with their two-seater model and eliminate the need for extra furniture. It’s made with a pet-friendly performance fabric, so it’s very easy to keep clean.

The couch also offers customizable ambient lighting. So yes, it literally lights up. You can control the lights under the couch from an app on your phone, and you can turn them any colour you want.

Sometimes the lights on my Rezy couch are a bit glitchy, but I’ve found some solutions to make it work more seamlessly. Technology is great, but only when it actually works!

Disclaimer: I am an affiliate with Rezy Design, but they did not give this couch to me for free. They gave me a discount, and I bought it with my own money. They also did not pay me to write this review or create any of the other content I made.

Order & Delivery

The ordering process was great, and customer service was very helpful. The delivery went smoothly. 4-5 boxes were delivered to my condo building, so I coordinated to book the elevator and safely bring the boxes upstairs. My ottoman came on a separate date because it was on back order, so I received it a couple of months later.

Setup

Setting up the couch was simple in terms of what to do, but how you do it was a little tricky. It took many attempts to "hook" the sectional pieces together. Thankfully, I had help from two other people to put everything together. I'm very glad it didn't just slide together like other couch brands, because this way the sectional pieces won't slide around or drift apart as I move around and use the couch.

Fabric & Cleaning

Rezy is made with performance fabric. I believe this just means that it's easy to clean. However, it's still a white couch, and I need to be careful. I use a couch/carpet cleaner and a damp cloth for any small spills that may happen. I also have a cat that sheds a lot, so I roll a reusable lint brush over it each week to keep things looking tidy and presentable.

The marble coasters on the armrests are a great feature, but I always place another coaster on top of them to make sure no stains or marks are left either. The marble is removable (velcro), but it's not easy to remove. It's pretty firmly stuck to the couch.

Comfort

One thing I was worried about when purchasing the Rezy sofa was the comfort. I really wanted a couch I could work from home on. Since the Rezy sofa is a smart couch with built-in technology and all this storage, I thought, "Could it really be that comfortable?" It also appeared firmer (based on the photos on their website).

I can confirm that it is comfortable. I'd say medium-firmness. Rezy defines the cushions as high-density foam for lasting durability and ultimate comfort. I work from home on it almost everyday and I love the comfort and support it offers.

Storage

Let's talk about the storage in this couch... because it's incredibly insane! In the best way possible.

In my two-seater Rezy sofa, there is seat storage, armrest storage, and a tray table. I also have an ottoman that has storage as well. All of this storage is perfect for my small condo. I put extra pillows, blankets, party supplies, cat treats, seasonal clothes, and more inside my couch storage. I even have extra room that I haven't used yet.

Each seat is about 35.5 x 32.5 x 12 inches. Armrests are for 50.5L per armrest. Rezy's site says each seat holds as much as an extra-large suitcase or around 20 stuffed animals. It's pretty amazing!

The tray table sits inside the right armrest. It's super useful for work-from-home days on the couch.

The armrest features storage for devices, books, and remotes. There are also power outlets inside the right armrest!

Electronic Functions

The right armrest has built-in power outlets, which makes it super convenient to charge devices. Each charging station includes 2 AC wall outlets, 1 USB-C port, and 1 USB-A port. So much easier to plug them in here than to pull furniture out from the wall to find a power outlet.

Customizable Ambient Lighting

One of my favourite features of this couch is the mood lighting. You can control the colour and pattern of the lights under the Rezy sofa from your smartphone. They have an app that allows you to connect via Wi-Fi, and you can adjust everything from there. You can create custom settings and name different colours to switch back and forth to, and it's so fun to play around with! The ambiance is everything.

There are some glitches when it comes to the lighting (like, they actually glitch/flicker sometimes), and the Wi-Fi connectivity can be a bit clunky. I've shared my experience and workaround in this YouTube video here.

Final Thoughts

It's a beautiful couch. It's stunning. It's perfect for the aesthetic, great quality, the pretty lights, and the incredible amount of storage. These features really drew me in, and the balance of design + function is what sold me. I love the way it looks in my home, and I've had a really positive experience with it so far. I've had it for almost one year now (since March 2025).

Although there are some annoying glitches with the connectivity of the lighting/app, I'm still really happy with the couch overall, and I'm really glad that I bought this one!
