Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade

Today I'm going to be reviewing the ABH Dipbrow Pomade! This stuff is super popular! After trying a handful of brow kits by various brands and the ABH brow wiz pencil, I decided to see what all the buzz is about with this pomade!

I chose the shade dark brown for my brows. I think it matches pretty perfectly! The container the product comes in is also nice but when you look at it from the side, it almost looks empty! Totally deceiving at how much product you really get in here, but I've heard that these last a long time!

I apply my brow pomade with a thin brow liner brush by Quo. I purchased this at my local Shoppers Drug Mart. It works perfectly for the type of application I need and is also slightly less expensive than the original ABH brush.

I usually start the process of my brows at the bottom and out towards the tail. I then fill them in, and use any leftover product near the front part of my brow, where I want it to be less dark and look as gradual as possible.

The thing about this product is that a little goes a long way! You literally only have to tap the brush to get the right amount of pomade on your brush. Overall, I am loving this product so far and I've only been doing it for one week!

You can find this pomade at Sephora.

Wish List Wednesday: Summer 2016

This summer I am loving everything watermelon - from pool floats, to midi skirts. Even this Kate Spade clutch is shaped as a watermelon slice! Speaking out Kate Spade - check out these adorable baby pink flamingo-bottomed heels! I also mentioned a Kate Spade flamingo dress that's perfect for  summer here

Bright colours are a huge part of summer, too! I love to experiment with different lipstick shades, so this bright yellow would be a fun one to try. Also, a hot pink nail polish is a must for summertime.

So bring on the heat, and don't forget that finishing spray to set your makeup!

Flamingos for Summer

Bring on the summer weather, summer drinks and... flamingos?! I am in love with this Kate Spade flamingo printed dress! To me, it screams summer and although it was NOT summer weather when I shot this look, it sure is now! I can't wait to wear this little number while strolling the parks and beaches in my hometown, or going out for coffee/lunch + outings in the city!

1. Doutzen's Nude by L'Oreal Paris

This shade is the perfect pink nude for a simple lip look. Goes on smoothly with a bit of shimmer + shine.

2. Melted Frosting by Too Faced

A dreamy bubblegum pink with a liquid-y melted texture.

3. D'Lilac by Lime Crime

A unicorn lipstick filled with the perfect pastel purple shade. Makes a huge statement and super fun to play with!

4. Schiap by NARS

My ultimate go-to shade. The most magical hot pink lipstick.

5. Earl Grey by NYX Cosmetics

A pantone blue shade (almost like Serenity). Super bold and daring.

My Favourite Smoothie Recipe

Today I will be sharing this super yummy and summer-worthy smoothie! I love making new drinks with different fruits and such, and they are always so cool and refreshing.

To make my smoothies, I use the Nutri Nnja. It comes with these single serving mixing cups that are perfect for smoothie-making for one person.

In my smoothie, I like to put in some frozen strawberries and peaches, and also some vanilla frozen yogurt.

I put it on high for about 30-45 seconds, and its finished! You can do a bit longer to make it an even smoother consistency, too.

If your frozen fruit gets stuck and the mixture stops turning, switch off the blender and take the cup off of the machine. Then, shake the cup so that everything gets "unstuck" from the blending razors. Put it back on and start it up again - and it should be running smoothly!

Dundas Square

For this look, I decided to try and dress more "relaxed" and casual. I included my new pink baseball cap to follow the baseball hat trend, too! I love that it's cotton candy pink and sI think it looked super cute. I have also been loving this black leather jacket because it goes with just about anything, and it gives any outfit a bit of "edge".

I shot this look at Dundas Square because I wanted it to look more "street style" and have a cool city vibe to it.
