Hold the Vision, Trust the Process

I'd say I can be fairly patient when it comes to certain things in life - such as waiting to deal with customer service, helping a friend, or waiting for my fresh manicure to dry - haha. I wouldn't say I am a "patient person" though. Like most people, I am always striving for success, and I always want to do my best. As I've learned through many ventures, success is definitely not a very quick and easy thing.

After being told many times to "trust the process," I've realized that I should be doing that more often. Why do I have to be in a hurry to grow up? Why do I have to be in such a hurry to be quote on quote "successful"? What does it mean to be successful anyways?

I think that I tend to get so caught up in goal setting and working towards a plan and I fail to enjoy the lessons that life teaches me along the way. Because yes - it can be a frustrating process. It's hard when things don't work out - but at the end of the day, I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and that good things take time.

Sometimes I just have to learn to hold onto that vision and believe that somehow, someway, it will all work itself out. Just trust that process.

Today I'm wearing this adorable pink Barbie sweater with these fun new black slides I recently picked up! I got these detachable pink pom-poms as well and I think they add the cutest touch to any pair of shoes.

P.S. I've been wearing these gold heart earrings non-stop lately and I am obsessed! Thoughts?

  2. I know how you feel! Success means different things for different people. Define what it is for you and strive for that to ensure you're happy and living your best life. You are not alone in this struggle :-)
