Another year, another trip to Florida to visit Grandma!
Every year I take a week vacation to see my Grandmother in Florida. I always have such a fun time with her - listening to her stories, going shopping, lots of laughter, and enjoying all of our favourite American restaurants together.
This year was no different. Our schedule included thrift shopping, hitting up discount department stores, some sun bathing days, visiting her friends, and of course, finding some pink places on my bucket list. We got to visit some pretty cool spots and I can't wait to share them all later in another post!
We stayed at a resort in Pompano Beach this year and did a day in Palm Beach and a day in Miami. Overall, it was a lot of fun.
Here are some highlights from the trip:
1. Staying up late talking to grandma / eating popcorn and ice cream
2. Finding amazing thrifted items (I bought 7 things totalling under $30 USD!)
3. Shopping (or more like dreaming) on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach
4. Discovering all the colourful walls and places in Miami
I’ve been back to work since Wednesday and it’s such a shock in weather between Florida and Toronto! Let’s just say I miss the heat.
Thanks for reading today!
