Don't Allow Doubt To Kill Dreams

"Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will".

Your mind is a powerful thing. I think it's way too easy to get caught up in your own thoughts, doubt and overthinking.

How many times have you talked yourself out of something because you didn't think you were capable? How many times have you second guessed yourself because of one line you keep running over and over again in your head?

Self talk is so important. It should be kept positive. I think believing in yourself can be tough, but with a little time and some successes along the way (big or small) - you can build yourself up enough to take risks you never would have before.

I feel like lately I've been doubting myself a little more and it's a tough situation to be in. I then think back to all the times I've doubted myself before, but then when I pushed forward and got through it - I ended up feeling on top of the world and fulfilling some of my wildest dreams. 

I was always a shy girl growing up and never liked being alone, but fast forward to now - I've been living on my own for almost 3 years now!

I have always been scared of rejection and terrified of failure but somehow I've managed to create this amazing platform and community and share my life with you on MAK Style. 

I have struggled with finding my voice in social situations and even in the workplace - but the more I speak up, the better I feel afterwards. 

What I'm trying to say is that doubt and fear might be present, but don't let it run your life. Just gotta keep pushing forward!

Today's look is all about black and hot pink. I'm loving the contrast of this all-black outfit with the pink flamingo wall and also some of y pink accessories as well. I did a bold pink lip, threw on some pink glasses and also am sporting these amazing pink Converse shoes. Have I mentioned how much I love Converse before? Because I love Converse.
