When I was in fashion school, I was often nicknamed Barbie and/or the Brunette Elle Woods. I had my endless pink wardrobe was on rotation and I can’t deny the resemblance between such iconic characters.
In a nod to October 31 (Halloween) I wanted to create an Elle Woods inspired look.
I’ve done pink suits in the past before, and today seemed fitting to name it after Elle, whom I wish I could steal clothes from!
This pink suit was actually my grandmother’s and she recently passed it down to me. I love this outfit not only because it’s the perfect shade of baby pink - it was her’s and that makes it so much more meaningful. She gave me a huge bag of hair scrunchies, more vintage clothing along with my love for thrift shopping over the years. I had so much fun styling this look and showing off my new pink hair with it too!
