IMAGE is a clinical skincare brand that has many lines of skincare products that target different skin concerns. One of their lines, Vital C, recently got some additions and I was able to try them out along with their newly revamped Hydrating A C E Serum and AGELESS Total Pure Hyaluronic Filler!
This Vital C line claims to target dry, dehydrated, sensitive, environmentally damaged and irritated skin.
My skin type is definitely more on the oily side, but I wanted to give these a try since moisturizing is something ALL skin types need - plus I have heard amazing things about IMAGE products (read fellow Canadian blogger, Lyndsey's skin care routine post all about IMAGE and why she loves it)!
Keep reading for my thoughts and impressions on each of the IMAGE products below!
Vital C Hydrating Water Burst:
This product is something I use every morning as part of my skin care routine. It's a lightweight gel, formulated to burst into intense hydration. I massage a quarter size amount vigorously into my face to wake up my skin and get the blood circulating! It helps to brighten my skin and even my complexion which is great right before makeup application.
Vital C Hydrating A C E Serum:
Also in the morning, (after the hydrating water burst), I apply this serum. This serum is infused with vitamins A, C & E that really make my skin feel healthy and glowy.
Vital C Hydrating Overnight Masque:
This masque is super hydrating and I only use it 1-2 times a week! I apply a pretty thick layer right before bed and then I sleep with it on. In the morning, I rinse my skin and it feels super smooth! I love the consistency on this masque formula and how it's a clear gel, so it won't stain my pillowcase while I sleep. If you are anything like me and love feeling productive, this one is a great multi-tasker because how amazing is it to be able to treat your skin and sleep at the same time? I'd say it makes me feel pretty accomplished!
Ageless Total Pure Hyaluronic Filler:
This last product is also pretty cool, but definitely used less! I try to apply it at night in my evening skincare routine to help smooth fine lines and keep my skin looking young. They say it's never too early to start using anti-aging products but I've also heard that oily skin types don't age as quickly? I could be wrong but let's hope it's the truth because your girl is prettyyyy oily!
I have been using these products for just over two weeks now and have to say that my skin feels overall smoother and more even in terms of the feel and pigment of it. I typically have a lot of redness and suffer from major acne scarring, but these products have sunk deep into my pores to bring out the bright and glowy side of my skin. I'm really into it!
In all, I thought they were great products that I will definitely keep in my line-up! My favourite would have to be the hydration water burst, but the A C E serum is great too. There's something about medical grade skincare and how it makes you feel the big difference compared to any other beauty brand's hydrating creams. IMAGE skincare actually works below the skins surface so it's great for helping with the look of acne scars and other dark spots.
The only thing that I don't necessarily like about these products would have to be the scent! I personally don't like the smell of orange scented things and these have an orange-y scent to them FOR SURE! I've heard that citrus and grapefruit scents are usually the most popular among consumers, but I guess I am just another unpopular opinion.
